George R.R. Martin was unable to attend Wednesday's HBO "House of the DragonAt Comic-Con, George R.R. Martin" world premiere.

The fantasy author was scheduled to be the special guest at the launch of his "Game of Thrones" prequel in the entertainment industry.

In a brief YouTube video, Martin, still sporting his signature fisherman's cap, said he was experiencing "sniffles,
