The San Mateo County District Attorney's Office announced that the case has been closed and that no charges would be filed because of "the circumstances surrounding the incident."

The victim had previously supplied scant details about the confrontation and refused to participate with the inquiry, according to police.
According to Tyson's representatives, the boxer was on a flight with "an angry passenger who harassed him and tossed a water bottle at him while he was in his seat."
Sarah Burchfield, a fellow passenger on the aircraft, told SFGate that the man Tyson hit earlier in an airport bar appeared boisterous and quarrelsome.
