High level design (HLD) includes architecture of the system description, as well as components such as platform, system, services and processes these documents includes flowchart, data flow and data structure so that developer can understand how the system is expected to work based on the feature and design they also describe how various functions and components work together. it defines the logic of each component of the system, the architecture to describe the flow of the system with a database design.

Solution architect is responsible to create the HLD.
